Can a Marine be a Scout Sniper, if he is nearsighted? Plus A Whole Lot Of Other Questions.?
Can a Marine in excellent physical and mental contition become a Scout Sniper, even though he is nearsighted? Can he get corrective surgery? Plus: What are the duties of a Scout Sniper, besides that of a scout and sniper, do they call in airstrikes and/or artillery? Is there a age limit? Can Scout Snipers be or become Officers? Will it be harder for say a college or university graduate to become a Scout Sniper at 24/26 then say a high school graduate at 18/19? What is the culture of USMC Scout Snipers? What are the dis-advantages of being a Scount Sniper besides the obvious having to withstand insects bites, soiling one's self, and being killed/tortured if captured. What are the advantages, besides achiving one's dream?
